The Quirinal Hill (today)

The Quirinal hill is one of the seven hills in Rome. The hill is normally quiet and has the Trevi fountain near it. The Trevi fountain is an amazing fountain with a sculpture of Neptune riding his chariot in the middle of it. It is also said that “the water at the bottom of the fountain represents the sea.” The head of State is the president in rome now and the Quirinal palace is the home of the president. The Quirinal hill also has the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli on it. The church was designed by Michelangelo and was built in honor of the christian slaves. (sources)
