Ovid's poem goes from grief to more grief. After Memnon's and Achilles' mothers mourned, Tibullus dies (probably because this was a elegy for him). Venus therefor becomes stunned, and since he was stunned all good was banished from Tory. Then at the end of the poem Tibullus is held a funeral and was cremated.
