A Very Depressing Moment in My Life
The Los Angeles Lakers are my favorite sports team, and 2 years ago in 2008 the Lakers made it to the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics. I had a great feeling about them winning the championship. I have never experienced the rivalry of the Lakers and Celtics until that year. I was very exciting thinking the Lakers were going to easily take the championship away from Boston and watch my team beat an old school rival. So as the NBA Finals began I went to Los Angeles over the summer and the gam was in Boston. As I arrived at my cousins house thinking the Lakers would be dismantling the Celtics, the Lakers were not only losing but falling behind badly. I was shocked and didn’t know if it was a dream or reality. Eventually the Lakers lost that game and I was very disappointed and sad. But it was only the first game I said. Then the Lakers lost the second game of the NBA Finals which made me very depressed and upset. The Lakers then came back to Los Angeles and luckily I was able to go to the game. The Lakers won that game which made me very happy. But then it turned to game four. As I was watching the game the Lakers were winning by more than 15 points in the game and I was happy and for surely thought that the Lakers were going to win. Then it turned into the fourth quarter and the Boston Celtics made a comeback and defeated the Lakers. I was shocked and I thought the Lakers were going to win the game and they lost, it was a very sad night for me and my cousins and I could not have been more sad that year. The Lakers won the next game, but eventually went to Boston for game 6 and lost the game of the series and it was an embarrassing loss. I was definitely not one of the happiest people on Earth.
